Ancestral Mexico
A 3D printed mechanism that can manually calculate an individual’s Aztec tonal from their birth year. The tonal is a collection of symbols from the tonalpohualli, is an ancient Aztec astrological system. There are 21 symbols in the Aztec calendar, animals, plants, and inanimate objects. The mechanism's design is inspired by the ancient Aztec Sun Stone. We redesigned all 21 symbols of the calendar and created custom typeface for the project.

Arûpa
Memo was able to generate the hype needed to take Arûpa, his small batch, ethical fashion brand, internationally and get his work in front of the eyes that were meant to see it, allowing for intentional, aligned connections to be formed inspired by the thoughtfulness, cultural relevancy, and beauty of his clothing. Together, we minutely crafted a brand mark and word mark with a completely custom typography unique to his brand that was printed on his entire fashion line and used for marketing collateral.

Be Peace, Be Hope
Karine was able to successfully showcase the results of a revolutionary emotional and artistic education program in front of an international audience of benefactors, including the French Minister of Education, allowing her to substantially grow the influence of her non-profit business. Together, we designed and layed out an 80 page book in three days, printing it just days before her departure to France. The exhibition in France was a success and we showcased the work and the book at a gallery in Houston when she returned.

Bright Development
Greg scaled his digital marketing agency, generating a multiple 6-figure revenue by solidifying his team and creating a strong work culture that is genuinely a pleasure to be a part of. He wanted to shift Bright’s positioning towards that of a boutique agency, so we designed a website that reflects the high-touch, quality service Bright provides. The website features a brilliant 3D interactive prism design, an innovative horizontal scroll and navigation system, showcasing Bright’s design & development capabilities, and impressive client list.

Her vision was birthed with a beautiful logo, custom word mark, imagery, and website. She now travels across the country hosting her transformative workshops.

Kevin and Ravi were launching DecoverAI, a next generation legal platform that helps litigating attorneys acquire insights, sift through massive amounts of information, and generate defense strategies. They needed a website that would match the creativity and industry shattering reality of what they are doing, showcasing their services and the larger mission of making attorneys more accessible to the general public. The keystone of this project were selecting compelling visuals that blended seamlessly with their information heavy layouts. The launch was a success, widely appreciated by their community.

With a fresh website, updated product logos, new color palette, fonts, illustrations, and an animated visualization of their process, Etech stepped forward, winning multiple multi-million dollar deals in Saudi Arabia.

With some strategic work and a gorgeous, meticulously crafted brand identity, her confidence soared as she became publicly recognized as an authentic spiritual leader and educator in her community, selling out the first semester of her school.

Highland Houndz
Highland Houndz, a brand by Elliot Sloane, a famous American skateboarder, is a pet supply company that sells high quality accessories dogs. This was an emergency website redesign completed within 2 weeks after a previous contractor had dropped the ball. The effort was to bring the grungy, alternative skate scene into the design, and it worked phenomenally, proving to be one of my most popular website designs to date.

Hope for Viet Orphans
Hope for Viet Orphans is a Vietnamese charity that provides funding for orphanages throughout the country. The goal was to create a welcoming environment for their audience (potential donors and volunteers) by telling their story in a smart and relevant way. We developed a new tagline, formulated their purpose, mission statement, vision, and brand story. The strategy work was a solid base upon which the logo, visual identity development, and website were created.

Laboratorio de Amor
Laboratorio de Amor, a meditation center in the heart of Mexico City, offered opportunities for people to live, study and practice meditation with like minded individuals. It was a full service retreat center with private rooms, world-renown guest spiritual teachers, and excellent home cooked meals. To enhance the feeling of style and exclusivity, a new brand needed to be established. During our time together, we refined internal and external communications, trained the full-time participants, and developed an elegant brand identity to attract and retain the audience.

Lowcountry Vets
Lowcountry Vets, a local gem in South Carolina that cares for animals all over the state, needed a new site. They had a logo but their visual identity was very minimally developed. We selected a branded color palette and some new fonts for the site (one of which was used as a new word mark). All of the old content from their older site was repurposed and adjusted for a smoother, more pleasurable experience. For some icing on the cake, we animated their logo on the home page and I sketched some custom pen & ink illustrations throughout the site. This project was created as a member of the Bright Development team.

Moreland Theater
The Moreland Theater, an almost 100 year old landmark in a queer neighborhood in Portland was undergoing renovations with new management. They wanted to reestablish the theater as a cornerstone of the neighborhood. To differentiate it from their other more commercial cinems, they wanted to turn it into a more alternative movie theater and local event space. The goal of the branding work was to reflect the family-oriented, community focused, “everyone is welcome” nature of the theater.
