Terms of Service

A note before we begin

Working with Jegayo means entering a creative partnership built on trust, clarity, and shared respect. These terms exist to protect both your vision and our craft, ensuring a smooth, transparent process from first conversation to final delivery.

1. Our Agreement

This document explains how we work together. By working with Jegayo, you agree to these terms. We agree to deliver thoughtful, professional creative work aligned with your goals. You agree to provide timely feedback, approvals, and payment so the work can move forward smoothly.

2. Respect the Process

We commit to clarity, communication, and deadlines. We ask the same in return. Each project follows a defined scope and timeline outlined in your proposal. Requests outside that scope will be treated as additional work and quoted separately before any new work begins.

3. Communication & Collaboration

We believe strong collaboration creates the best outcomes. Most project communication happens through email, scheduled calls, or your Notion project portal. We respond within two business days and ask that you do the same. If long delays occur without notice, we may pause or reschedule your project to protect studio capacity.

4. Deliverables & Revisions

All deliverables, timelines, and revision rounds are defined in your proposal. Revisions are collaborative opportunities, not new directions. Additional revisions or major changes in strategy or creative direction may require a new estimate and extended timeline.

5. Payment Terms

Project fees and payment schedules are detailed in your proposal or invoice. Deposits are non-refundable and secure your project slot. Final files are released once payment is complete.

Late payments may incur a fee of 5% per month or the maximum allowed by law. Jegayo reserves the right to pause work until payments are current.

6. Ownership & Usage Rights

All concepts, drafts, and preliminary designs remain the property of Jegayo until final payment is received. After payment, you receive full rights to the approved deliverables as outlined in your proposal. Jegayo retains the right to display completed work in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless confidentiality has been agreed to in writing.

7. Confidentiality

Any private information shared during the project stays private. Both parties agree to protect sensitive materials and conversations. NDAs can be signed if needed.

8. Timelines & Pauses

Our timelines are built to balance quality with efficiency. We rely on your responsiveness to keep momentum. If the project is delayed more than 14 days due to lack of feedback or materials, we may pause the project and reschedule it when availability allows. A restart fee of 25% of the initial project fee may apply.

9. Cancellation & Refunds

If you decide to cancel before work begins, your deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs mid-project, you’ll be invoiced for the work completed up to that point.

If Jegayo must cancel for any reason beyond our control, you’ll receive a full refund for any uncompleted work.

10. Intellectual Property

Jegayo respects intellectual property and expects the same in return. You confirm that all materials provided to Jegayo are owned or properly licensed by you. Jegayo’s methods, templates, and frameworks remain proprietary and may not be copied, resold, or distributed without written permission.

11. Liability

Jegayo provides services in good faith and with professional care. However, we can’t be held responsible for indirect damages, loss of revenue, or other consequences arising from project use or delay. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project in question.

12. Dispute Resolution

We value communication and will make every effort to resolve disputes quickly and fairly. If we can’t reach a resolution through discussion, the dispute will be handled under Texas law through binding arbitration in Harris County.
